I used to hear this “keep showing up” in the past from my parents and grandparents when I was young, to attend a program even if I do not know anyone, keep going to college even though I am not sure about the future on that course. I was kinda like I needed to foresee the result before actually doing something. But to them, showing up was more important than the result. They kept pushing it on every occasion, when I am down or hesitant, they just keep saying, just show up, it matters.
And, fast forward to now, I can understand what that showing up means, even though it may not have any direct benefit, it nurtures you as a person, a social human, the emotional intelligence you acquire you without even realising.
And, I personally use that principle everyday now, keep showing up, even if your business doesn’t make any progress, even if you get no response from the clients, even if you get no revenue from the side hustles, keep doing it, just keep showing up. One day, you would understand the value of all the struggles you had endured, it will mature you with the tons of experience than other one who just took the easy paths only.
So, keep showing up.
